Hi, I’m Chase!

I've been lucky enough to have experience doing just about everything – from hosting a nationally broadcasted TV episode about Kennywood, to managing the sales department of a high volume car dealership.

My passion for storytelling started in live theatre, where I've working on over 75 productions ranging from on stage rolls, to sound reinforcement, acoustical design, audio mastering, technical direction, and my favorite, lighting design.

I used that passion at Carnegie Mellon University where I would receive my Bachelor of Science in Technical Writing and Communications, minoring in Drama (Technical Theatre). There I was able to take classes in not only English and writing, but also stagecraft, scenic construction, lighting, audio, computer programing (a lot of computer programing), and design.

That spark of curiosity led me to ask permission to be the only undergraduate to take their famed Building Virtual Worlds course, the cornerstone of their themed entertainment program (Masters in Entertainment Technology).

From there I graduated and moved back home. I started working for the family car dealership as a service technician then moved into parts sales (it was fascinating to pour through massive technical documents all day), automotive sales, sales management, and finally digital management. In that time I also completed the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy; an intensive, year long study about the five profit centers of an automotive franchise dealership.

Now I'm starting a new journey as an MFA student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I have a real passion for theme and amusement parks – I've been to 53 different ones in 3 countries and have ridden 256 individual roller coasters. I was the Member Communications Coordinator for American Coaster Enthusiasts for over a year, and just left my post as a Board Member of Altoona Community Theatre. I still travel almost monthly, sometimes to visit new parks, usually to explore new places and food. I have an eye for detail, and a passion for quality.
